The IHSAA is waiving the need for sports physicals for students that had a physical on file for the 2019-2020 school year. If students had a physical last year, they will not need to obtain a new physical for the 2020-2021 school year. If a student athlete did not obtain a physical last year, they will need an athletic physical prior to any athletic activity.
The IHSAA is requiring all students to complete the 2020-2021 Health Update Questionnaire and Release as well as the Sudden Cardiac Arrest/Concussion Release. These three pages will need to be turned in prior to any involvement in summer activity. Students will not be allowed to begin summer athletic activity without these three releases signed and returned. There are copies of the forms in the high school office if students can not print the releases from home. Releases can be turned into the office (Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.). Students may also bring the releases with them prior to the first workout they attend.
The IHSAA has set a start date for July 6th for athletic activity. We are currently in the planning stages of what July 6th workouts will look like, and will have more information in the coming weeks.
The north clinic in Williamsport now requires you to make an appointment for a Sports Physical.
